I know Jung had a lot of influence on Campbell and I could be wrong but I think he credits Heinrich Zimmer for this sort of stuff ... yet I think they all were in sync on this idea and I would bet it goes back even before these guys. But yes, it could be the Tao of Jung as well. Yet, these are almost the exact words of Campbell re-contextualized into a mathematical statement. I have to mention that I am a big fan of Campbell for his talent on raising the word "mythology" to the status of religion. Thanks for your input Karl, Cheers!
