Mathematical poetry is an artistic expression created by performing mathematical operations on words or images as if they were numbers. One may find this baffling because it seems we are confused about knowing the difference between the states of quality versus quantity. But it is through the fusion of this dichotomy that mathematical metaphor is spawned. Mathematics has always been used for denotation. However, our interest is to use math as a language for connotation.

They are animated gifs ... I am not sure how they were constructed ... you may always email Marko ... checkout http://nurotus.blogspot.com/
I giggled at this -- made me remember an old animated clip I liked, Bambi Meets Godzilla.
In any case, found your blog through the Electronic Poetry Center's list of blogs.
It is interesting how we make these connections. You make me think in terms of critical mass being a metaphor for the relationship between Bambi and Godzilla. Where the neutrons of boredom (assuming boredom motivates Godzilla’s destruction) stack up in the nucleic brain of this monster to the point he explodes with apocalyptic energy to advance his wrath on the world. hehe
Thanks for dropping by!
Hi,
This is funny. It is survival of the fittest. The big ant eats the little ant.
Please visit my poetry site.
