‘Mathematical poetry ‘is a blog that primarily concerns itself with ‘Equational Poetry’ yet, other Mathematical Poetry forms are discussed. ‘Equational Poetry’ is an artistic expression created by performing mathematical operations on words or images. Mathematics has always been used for denotation. However, my interest is to use math as a language for connotation. – Kaz Maslanka

Hi Karl,
I know Jung had a lot of influence on Campbell and I could be wrong but I think he credits Heinrich Zimmer for this sort of stuff ... yet I think they all were in sync on this idea and I would bet it goes back even before these guys. But yes, it could be the Tao of Jung as well. Yet, these are almost the exact words of Campbell re-contextualized into a mathematical statement. I have to mention that I am a big fan of Campbell for his talent on raising the word "mythology" to the status of religion.
Thanks for your input Karl,
Cheers!
K
