Sherrill's Music

The similar triangles poem above titled Sherrill's Music is inspired by Robert Sherrill's 1970 book titled "Military Justice is to Justice as Military Music is to Music"

"Military Intelligence is to Intelligence as Military Music is to Music"

Is this a similar triangles poem? - the start of a collaborative substitution poem?

I particularly enjoy the `Substitution in Mathematical Poetry`section where there is an emotional richness to the words...

Hi Rob,
Thank you for your comments. To answer your question, the title of Sherrill’s book is one of the two verbal translations for the similar triangles poem based on his book title; the other translation would be military music is to military intelligence as music is to intelligence. It is collaboration yet it is not a substitution poem because you need two poems to make a substitution poem, Although, I must commend you on your astuteness and your knowledge of the taxonomy of structures and techniques for mathematical poetry.
Concerning you comment on the ‘’substitution in mathematical poetry’’ blog entry … first of all thank you for your kind words and secondly I have to point out that one of my interests is to see how many ways mathematical equations can be used with words. Some of my work is more akin to traditional poetry and some is not.
Thanks again RAF digital
